Getting started with Palm programming.
The best place to get started with Palm programming is at www.palmos.com/dev/gettingstarted.html. This area of the Palm OS site contains good overview, Palm OS SDK, Palm OS Emulator, and info on suggested tools., , If you're a Delphi developer, take a look at PocketStudio. It's kind of like Delphi for the PocketStudio: www.pocket-technologies.com

I performed comparison between several devt products : as I'm not a deep c++ developer, my choice pointed on CASL-PRO from CASLsoft. I develop with it for several months, I really enjoy. Have a look at caslsoft.com

Which Palm should I get?
Help me out, I can't decide which Palm to get. I'm currently looking at the new m505 and Sony's new CLIE PEG-N710C. I like the Sony because it has a built in MP3 player and I like the m505 because there is a Franklin version of it and I use a Franklin planner. The m505 doesn't have an MP3 player and the Sony is on OS 3.5.2., , Does it matter what OS? Any advice?

Thanks. I ended up getting a Palm m505 and love it. It is slim and color. No mp3 player but I have a dedicated mp3 player with 128 MB so I agree with your thoughts on that issue.
