This book is intended for programmers and those interactive Paradox users that wish to learn how to program in Paradox for Windows. This book was written using Paradox 1 for Windows.

I've often been asked if this book can be used to learn ObjectPAL in later versions of Paradox. Although my Paradox 7 Programming Unleashed and Paradox 9 Power Programming books are updated and a better choice than this book, this book will work well to learn ObjectPAL basics and many advanced topics. Just ignore mention of "defects" and "limits". Most if not all the defects and limits mentioned in this book were fixed and removed in Paradox 5 and 7.
