Can Paradox convert .bmp to .jpg?
Hello everyone, I have a question! I have created a form that takes pictures from a directory and places the pictures into a table, it is to show users in the office pictures that are stored in various places on the network that are sorted by name or type, etc. I have programmed the form to do all what I need it to do except one part, I have made a button that when pressed it exports the image from the table and stores it to a location on that users computer. Currently all the pictures are .bmp files, I have been trying to research and find out if there is code that can be written to convert a .bmp file to another filetype such as .jpg. If I was able to do this I would then make a dropdown box that allows the user to choose whether or not to export the image as a .bmp or a jpg. Can paradox convert images from one file type to another file type? If so, can someone write out a small example for me please? Thank you very much ! David

Hi David, Yes you can do this but not with ObjectPAL alone. The writeToFile() method only writes out bitmaps (.BMP) even when you specify a .jpg extension. So, no, you can't do this with ObjectPAL alone. You'll have to use a DLL and have the DLL convert the file for you. For example, try the IJL10.DLL on the following page: http://www.thevbzone.com/d_DLL.htm

My understanding is that Microsoft recommends you use an auxiliary Edit control for doing the task. When you want to edit the text in a cell, you retieve the cell's rectangle and place an edit control over it. It's a bit complex but here's a tutorial:, , MSFlexGrid Edit Tutorial, , Is there a reason you can't use a DataGrid?

SetGenFilter
We have a form with a tableframe on it. People scroll or search through the tableframe until they come to the project they are looking for. Then, in a separate tableframe, they enter data., , I would like to filter the first table on the basis of one of two key fields - Year. Bad choice of field name, made long before I arrived. It is actually in the form YR-X, where YR is a 2-digit fiscal year and X is project type., , I want to show only projects that match YR-F. I.e., year doesn't matter, only project type. The records are not contiguous, so can't use SetRange., , Should I somehow use an array to get only the project type? Not sure where to begin. I'm open to completely different solutions, however this seems like the format that people doing the data entry can handle., , Harry

1. Official Login Page

I’ll walk you through how I get into the MyFordBenefits login for employees portal every time I need to check my benefits. Trust me, I’ve been a Ford employee for years, and back in the day, I fumbled this process more than I’d like to admit.

But now? I’ve got it down to a science, and you will too! Let’s dive into the MyFordBenefits login for employees steps so you can access the Ford benefits portal without a hitch.

How about an example? Say you’re a retiree: your Ford retiree login testar might lean on your SSN the first time. Type Official Login Page carefully, Complete MyFordBenefits password entry accurately to breeze through the login process, and use MyFordBenefits PIN login if prompted for added security during setup.

MyFordBenefits login credentials recovery helps you regain access with User ID or SSN and security questions.

Step 3: Navigate and Verify
Once I’ve got my credentials in, I hit the My Ford Benefits account login button. The MyFordBenefits login for employees page is pretty straightforward, guiding you to the MyFordBenefits dashboard login. If it’s your first go, expect this:

You might face a one-time verification code process
I got a code via email once, typed it in, and boom, I was verified
This boosts MyFordBenefits secure login vibes, so don’t skip it.
Notice how authenticate MyFordBenefits works here? It’s all about keeping your info locked down.

2. nelnet student loans

Nelnet is a top student loan servicer managing federal and private loans for millions, offering tools like Nelnet secure login and Nelnet multi-factor authentication for easy payments and account access. With my Nelnet login instructions, accessing your borrower portal becomes a breeze—follow my steps to avoid Nelnet fraud, fix errors, and set up quickly. Let’s dive in!

I’ll explain: Nelnet’s online portal is your one-stop shop for managing your student loans, whether they’re federal or private. It’s designed to give borrowers quick access to their Nelnet borrower login, where you can check balances, make payments, and update your info.

Back in the day, I thought logging into these portals would be a breeze, but I quickly learned that a little know-how goes a long way. The Nelnet login page is straightforward, but it’s packed with Nelnet account security features to keep your data safe. nelnet student loans

Here’s the catch: The portal’s security, like Nelnet two-factor authentication, can sometimes feel like overkill. I once spent 20 minutes trying to log in because I didn’t have my phone handy for the verification code. But trust me, once you get the hang of it, it’s a lifesaver for keeping hackers at bay.

Cool Tip: Bookmark the Nelnet login page to avoid phishing scams. I learned this the hard way after clicking a sketchy link from an email that looked legit. Save yourself the headache!

3. Bill Pay

Why does it matter? Because juggling hospital bills and insurance claims can be a nightmare, and PerYourHealth login simplifies it all. Back in the day, I spent hours on hold with billing offices, but now, with a few clicks, I’m in control. Here’s how you implement it.

Accessing the PerYourHealth patient portal is your gateway to managing medical bills and healthcare expenses with ease. It’s a secure, user-friendly platform that lets you handle everything from bill payments to viewing online health records. Bill Pay

First, head to the PerYourHealth official site login at www.peryourhealth.com. This is your starting point for patient portal access. Open your browser—Chrome, Firefox, whatever you prefer—and type in the URL. Simple.

The homepage is clean, with a big “Patient Login” button staring you in the face. Click it, and you’re on your way to the PerYourHealth website login.

Stick to peryouthealth com to avoid headaches. The official site ensures secure patient access, keeping your patient financial services login safe.

Next, you’ll need your PerYourHealth user ID and password. These are the credentials you set up during registration (more on that later). Enter them in the designated fields on the login to PerYourHealth page.

If you’re an existing user, this is straightforward. I remember the first time I logged in; I fat-fingered my PerYourHealth password and got an error. Double-check your spelling, folks!

Here’s the catch: if you’re using a shared computer, don’t save your PerYourHealth sign in details in the browser. That’s a recipe for someone else accessing your PerYourHealth account access. Always prioritize secure login practices.

If you’ve enabled two-factor authentication (2FA)—and you should, trust me—you’ll get a prompt to enter a verification code. This code lands in your email or phone, depending on your setup. It’s a quick step to boost PerYourHealth secure login security.

I once skipped enabling 2FA, thinking it was overkill. Worked well… for a while. Then a buddy’s account got hacked, and I turned on 2FA faster than you can say cybersecurity healthcare.

How about an example? Imagine you’re logging in from a new device. You enter your PerYourHealth ID and password, then get a text with a six-digit code. Punch it in, and you’re golden. This ensures protected health information stays, well, protected.
