RE: CodeGear has a new home!
I don't think being a commercial app necessarily rules out .NET over Win32 platform. It's reasonable now to require XP or better. Most will already have .NET installed, and if not, then the installer could install it. the .NET app would have a smaller footprint. Unlike Java apps, the UI speed of .NET app is indistinguishable from a Win32 app. It would probably take less hours to develop, and since the goal of a commercial app is to make a profit, that needs to be considered too. Win32 apps must be installed and uninstalled. .NET click-once remove this burden, allowing just the server image to be updated, and all the clients get a fresh "install" the next time they run.

Re: H-1B Discussion
A group of anti-H-1B activists have drafted a letter to DOL that is seeking signatures. you can add your name by emailing:, , Name, statment of situation, city state zip, phone email, , to kim@prestwood.com, , the letter is temporarily available here:, DOL Letter Draft , , While DOL claims to be protecting U.S. workers, they are approving LCAs for H-1Bs paying as little as $28,000 per year. Many of these indian contract companies force the indians to sign contracts that if they quit, they owe $10,000 for their training, then they force them to work 14 hour days, 7 days per week., , Anyone who believes SLAVERY ended 150 years ago in American is mistaken. CEOs of tech companies, including Intel, HP, Cisco, Oracle, Sun, are the new plantation owners. (Carly reminds me a bit of Scarlett O'Hara), , thanks, Kim berry, Sacramento

Re: Keyword Errors
try building the entire query string first and displaying it. Month must be quoted, eg:, , ...WHERE Month = 'January', , I believe this is accomplished by:, , 'WHERE Month = ''' + edit.month + '''

Delphi --> APPC/LU6.2?
I'm investigating a project where existing Delphi COM objects must, communicate with Microsoft SNA 4.0 (SP2) server via its APPC/LU6.2, interface. The Delphi will run on the same box as the SNA., , I'm not clear on the features of Delphi/400 vs Microsoft COMTI, (Transaction Integrator), but both appear to provide a client to, implement this interface., , Why should I choose one over the other? Are there limitations in, either that I need to be aware of?, , I can't find Delphi/400 on the Borland website. Is this support now, native in Delphi 6? Is it in OLEDB? Or maybe it's a 3rd party product?, I found:, , http://www.systemobjects.com/HomeDelphi400.html , , Microsoft info here:, , http://www.microsoft.com/sna/productinfo/overview.asp , , , Thanks,, Kim Berry

Re: ASP Mail
Donna,, , As I've written before, sending a different message to TO and CC is not possible. I thought we agreed about that when I posted the sending of two separate emails on Oct 18. , , You need to:, a) create two separate email bodies - you know how to do that, , b) send two separate emails - you know how to do that, , Kim
