Hi All,, , I use FrontPage for building my websites and am currently trying to solve the dilemma of what shopping cart to use for e-commerce. My host supplies cart32 v3.5, but in my tests some kind of scary things happened, like order number 2 overwrote information in order number1. I am debating whether to write my own, or use the basics of someone else's. I see many advantages in this process since we are in the process of selling our services in the web design area. My dilemma is what one should choose to write in these days and I am hoping this will generate some spirited debate. , , One can choose Cold Fusion, cgi(perl), java, etc. I am looking for Windows-based solutions and want to be able to use PayPal to take payments. , , I am looking forward to the feedback to come., , Karen

The stylesheet is incorporated in the head of the document. If anyone knows why it won't work please let me know. , ,

Laying out single-page HTML notices with FrontPage 2000. These E-notifications are intended to be sent by e-mail. Most images come through OK, however, when I place an image or animation in a table as a background for that table (i.e. to overlay type or images within the table) the background image does not show up when e-mailed to others. Mine looks fine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Here's the problem - Macromedia Flash shows player and controls,  but dosn't show any content. (this is for the viewing of a foran site.) I think the problem lays in the "Embed" Tag used on some sites, since the problem only happens on afew sites seen. Any ideas to the cause and a fix for it ?  (this has me stumped and many other techs.)

Can I upgrade my personal plan site to an EC3 ecommerce plan? What happens to my existing pages? I'd like to keep them and just add a store as a sub-directory. Is that possible?

Posted to MB Topic: Website Hosting

How much is the optional Quickbooks module? Do I order it from Prestwood or Mercanec? I have an EC3 plan.

Posted to MB Topic: Website Hosting

In the control panel area, or any other area, do you offer a way we can monitor keywords that people are using to access our site.

When I did register with DirectNIC, I thought I had a good deal - 15 bucks for a year of domain name... but then I realized that it's a hassle. I can't seem to get prestwood's hosting plan to work nicely with it. For example, I can see my web site there... but if I send any email to anything@gizzar.com (my registered name is gizzar.com), it bounces back and says the domain isn't recognized or something...
