Using Index on Oracle

Is there any special way to use the Indexex in Oracle with ObjectPal.

Seems like I can only use the qlocate method against oracle. Also this method is not very efficient. I call the switchIndex("ORACLE INDEX")method before I try to do a locate. Is there another way to handle this?

Thanks!

Just adding to this old thread...

Not really. qLocate works just fine. You could switch from the native BDE driver to an ODBC driver especially now that BDE SQL Links is deprecated.
