Paradox 8 on Terminal Server

I'm running a Pdox 8 app on MS Terminal Server. There are two different remote users who use the app extensively and one of their primary activities is editing data records in one table. These records are defined by city so that they aren't every actually working on the same records, yet the table gets corrupted after about 6 - 10 hours of use. It responds to a rebuild, but I can't figure out why it keeps going bad. Is there something special that needs to be done to allow two people to work on what is essentially the same database with the same computer via the Terminal Server?

I do not belive that this has something to do with your Terminalserver. Either your code is not good or your BDE settings are wrong.
Make sure that your datasource is physikel on the Terminalserver. Check that every clint has mapped the same drive i.e P:\. Very important.

The Solution

As with getting most legacy applications to work correctly on Terminal Server, getting the BDE to work is a matter of rights. Once rights are setup, you can then configure the BDE.

There are many ways to solve these specific rights errors. One easy solution if you trust the users using the terminal server is to add them as administrators to the terminal server. An elegant way to accomplish this if you're using Active Directory is to add your user group to the Administrators group of the terminal server.
