Since no replies yet, I'll ask....

What are you trying to do? Or, what would you like to learn to do?

There is a cross-reference to another question by the same member:

Old UBB Archived Link: Field Numeric with Paradox

I also received a private email from this member, asking about examples of building Paradox forms with InterBase 6.0.

I think this member has three issues here:

 • 1. How to insert text with international characters in the string (locale? multi-byte chars?), which I would assume is a BDE issue.
 • 2. Doing the actual INSERT into the InterBase table (I don't know what problem he's encountering here).
 • 3. Successfully building a Paradox form on an InterBase 6.0 database.

If you follow the link above, this member is aware of SQL Dialect 3 in the BDE, and has applied the dialect setting correctly, so DATE, TIME, and large numeric fields are interpreted correctly.
This week I lack the in-house expertise of our Paradox gurus, so I turn this issue over to the Paradox gurus on the boards. If you want to email this member offline to help him with his Paradox issues, contact him at:

assure@nwnet.com.br

His name is Jose Ant⌠nio de Rezende, and he uses a translator for English-to-Portugese, so bear with him.

He has a sense of urgency on this issue. I could help with InterBase issues (if I knew what they were), but hopefully, he can find some expedient Paradox help here.

Thanks. Block Head!

I cannot find a folder named Corel under Programs. I also looked in Programs(86) Could not find Shared Samples there.
