I'm having problems with the setMessageType while sending emails.

I have been using email notification for a while but now want to send emails which include html, (not an attachment). I believe that setMessageType(...) is the command I should use but I can't find any additional documentation on the structure I should use ipm.urgent is all the manual says.

The email system used is Mercury Mail 1.48.

Thanks for your help in advance.

My reading of the online help suggests to me that setMessageType is mail system specific and I don't have any experience with Mercury Mail.

We wrote our own DLL using Delphi for use in Paradox because we wanted a mail system independant way to send email.

What happens when you just put HTML in your message using setMessage()?

Thanks for replying,

The system sends the mail ok, but the delivered message shows all of the html code, this is with m.send().
Using m.sendDlg(), opening the mail dialog works properly showing the html and correctly sets the message type to highest.

I think I may use a perl smtp script as this will work properly.

Thank you for your assistance.
