I am a novice programmer looking to access a Paradox DB from my website. The server is the web hoster Brinkster. I believe that I can work thru the manipulation of the database with Paradox's syntax(back end stuff), but I am having difficulty in actually chaining into the DB from my site.(ODBC????) Is the process at all similar to Access and SQL, where you establish a connection with a driver and DSN??

What development environment are you using? If you're using ASP/ODBC/ADO, than the Paradox ODBC driver works very well. If not, do you want to use the Paradox ActiveX control from within Paradox? If you use this approach, than you can use you ObjectPAL knowledge. However, this means you'll need to be running Paradox and the BDE on the server. If this isn't an option, go with the ODBC driver. Also, if you don't know ObjectPAL well, than you're better off using the ODBC driver, ASP, and ADO.
