Congratulations to all who have conceived and developed and are managing this forum! Paradox seems to me to be way superior to everything other DBMS I've tinkered with. However, it seems to suffer from the superior marketing of its inferior competitors.
In my organization I've had both overwhelming approval towards the unique capabilities and efficiency we've arrived at using Paradox, and at the same time difficult challenges gaining acceptance from those who are not familiar with Paradox. There are apperently no seminars available in our area (central Indiana). The different versions over the years have in my mind have had a few more then the usual share of bugs for a widely distributed commercial product. I eagerly await version 10!
With this forum I've been impressed at the timeliness of many responses and the opportunities we now have to help each other out. We need to do everything possible to make it easy to find and exchange code and/or objects that serve commonly needed functions and even more specialized needs. We will all be much better off if we can avoid reinventing the wheel so to speak

Thanks guys. The message boards have been up for just over 8 weeks and we're already past 500 messages and nearly 400 registered members. The best part is that I've seen an increase in others answering questions out here. I do appreciate all the help! Thanks again!
I agree entirely! And, I think I would go so far as to add I really don't know young (sic) Mike Prestwood finds the time/and/or energy to organise and answer all the bumff that must drop through his electonic mailbox. Maybe we ought to have a whip-round and buy him bottle of fizz for the new year! But, don't let's forget the whiz kid regulars who also seem to be happy to spend some time on the site. rt
