From across the water I, and I'm sure many others would certainly join with those sentiments. I think the administration (sic) is using our trauma to further its (possibly subconscious -- these guys aren't rocket scientists) grandiose ambitions to remake the world in its own Taliban Christian Revisionist Rightwing image. My thoughts are with you from across the water on the anniversary of this outrageous attrocity. I was in America at the time of the attacks and can clearly remember the looks of sheer bewilderment on peoples faces as the reality of what had happened began to sink in.
I have spent the morning reading the newspapers over here and readily admit that I have had to choke back many a tear reading stories of the people whose lives were directly and dramatically altered by this terrible event. I read these stories and the same thought kept popping into my head.

I would like to weigh in with my outrage at the CIA for ever fuding, arming and training Al Queda and then, worst of all, abandoning Afganistan in shambles after the Cold War ended.
Why can't we just support people like Corazone Aquino more often?
