 WordPerfect Office Pro 2020; No Change in Paradox?

Based in part on information from this board, I bit the bullet and upgraded to WP Office Pro 2020 from Version 8. The installation went smoothly, but when I opened Paradox it was still Version 11. Comparing it to my laptop, it's exactly the same release, 11.0.0.676! I then uninstalled and reinstalled Paradox with the same result.
Did I do something wrong? Is there a newer version of Paradox, and if so why don't the update program install it?
If this is true, then Corel is ripping off customers — I could have saved $100 by purchasing the standard upgrade instead of the Pro version (Paradox being the only difference, I think). |

I would have to look at any other threads you were following, but you certainly won't get "upgrade" advice like that here.. paradox 11 is paradox 11, it's always gonna be paradox 11, and it's been paradox 11 since 2002

Perhaps I overstated it. I was leaning toward updating my WP Office software, and hoped that would include improvements in Paradox. The only factor in that decision from this board was my understanding (misunderstanding as it turned out) that the registry cleaner was no longer included in the most recent versions. It is still there, unfortunately, but relying on your advice I was able to find and remove it. Thanks again for that.
BTW, I'm really pissed at Corel. I've demanded a refund of the price difference between the upgrade of the Pro and Standard versions of the software suite. |

thanks.. to Corel, paradox is just a black box that they include with the suite.. I thought the reg cleaner was removed, evidently I'm wrong and/or they put it back
