Document Source Report broken...?

Hello,
I run P9 under Win 10 Pro 64 V1703.
I just wanted to look at all of the code on a form, and clicked on View | Document Source.
That displayed an error "Page header and footer are too tall for the logical page size." Then, a report design page opened that was blank except for two short vertical lines. At the bottom of the screen there was a message "Could not fit field Source in layout."
I looked at its data model, and it pointed correctly to PAL$SRC.DB.
Next I tried to insert a tableframe, but left mouse seemed to do nothing. I was not able to get anything to appear on screen.
After those attempts, I closed the report design window, and clicked File | New Report. I pointed the report to PAL$SRC.DB but when I tried to choose a Tabular format, I got an error "Insufficient room for detail records of :PRIV:PAL$SRC.DB.
Two more things to mention:
When all this started, I eventually ran a "refresh" of my paradox files, but that did nothing I can notice, and finally, when I open the PAL$SCC.DB table, it looks just fine.
What might I do to correct this situation?
Sincere thanks,
Lothar

yes, the Pal$src table, in the priv, should have all the code for one table.. for all the code in all the forms, look into the enumSource function, too
in the meantime, I just wanted to see the code from the one event, so I could help answer your question :-)

Hi Steve,
I've continued to experiment, but just managed to generate an error that I don't understand:
First, it displayed: "The filter expression is not valid" (and that I understand.)
But the next line is:
"Can't convert tickDate to a fldDate." (Where tickDate is a variable declared as a date.)
I have no idea what a "fldDate" is, and wondered if you might assist. What is this error telling me?
Many thanks,
Lothar

it's not one of the usual "incompatible types" messages.. no clue.. I'd expect that "fldDate" is a var in the app

Hi Steve,
When I read your comment, I thought "Of course... that would explain it."
But, I searched with care, and there is no mention of "fldDate" in the code on the form.
I'll try another approach and will get back here if I can't work it out.
Many thanks,
Lothar
