If I were doing this for a client, I would create a 32-bit DLL in Delphi and simply call it from Paradox to process what was needed.

hey, Mike.. making a DLL doesn't bypass the "admin rights" issue, does it? but if so, that's a really simple solution!

no, Delphi has nothing directly to do with Paradox.. it's C+ based.. it came from Borland, back in the day, and it works well with Paradox tables and the BDE
