How To use a variable as the name for a report

I would like to have our delivery-note number as the report name, so when we print it with a PDF driver, the pdf attachement would have the same name as it corresponding deliverynote. In order words how would the syntax be for renaming the report before printing ?

Don't know if you're still looking for an answer to this but we came across the same problem using PDF Creator.

After a lot of fiddling about with environment variables I finally gave up and just wrote a little method to rename the generated report to whatever I wanted it to be after PDF Creator had done its bit.  If you're using a different PDFr (is that a word?) I can't help you, but we've managed to do everything we needed to with PDF Creator Autosave settings., we're emailing PODOS, Invoices etc three times a day.

Oh, just watch for your report name lengths, PDF Creator will truncate them to 31 characters.

We still are looking for an answer, so thank you for your reply. Yes, we do use PDF Creator. 

So using file system method for renaming is the path.
