I am running Paradox 11 under windows 7/64. When I put Windows 7/64 in I had no end of problems with software that would not run on it. Fortunately, Paradox did. My question is, "is anyone continuing to develop Paradox Win, other than Corel or is it's future compatibility dependent on them. As I understand it, there has been very little development work on Paradox since version 9. What has been done is virtually tweaks. Am I right? Does anyone have any thoughts on the subject?
Hi Ross, my company Prestwood IT doesn't develop new applications in Paradox anymore, but we do maintain quite a few. Our development for new apps focuses on two platforms: C# to MS SQL using webforms, as well as PHP to mySQL usually within Wordpress.
It's great that Paradox 9 and above run well on Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10. I miss the simplicity of Paradox applications. Good times. I maintain a blog on the future of Paradox at the following URL:
