No such interface supported

No such interface supported in Paradox Forms topic (part of our Corel Paradox / ObjectPAL Coding group).

Quick Search: interface   supported   No such   No such interface

We have Paradox 9 on Windows XP. Recently we "upgraded" to MS Office 2003 and also went to Active Directory. The problems started after these changes, so I suspect they may be a factor.)

Paradox has started acting crazy on my computer (apparently not on anyone else's).

In Project Viewer, when I try to go to my PRIV directory or to a certain one of the other directories, I get the message "No such interface supported." When I click on this, I get "Access violation at address 0569C474 in module 'Pdxvwr32.dll', Read of address 00000000.

This happens regardless of whether I use the alias or navigate to the directory.

I can open tables in the two directories from other working directories.

The IT guy reinstalled the whole WordPerfect Office 2000 Suite. (We are moving from WP to MS so we won't be upgrading WP.) He tried everything else he could think of with no success.

Also, every time I close Paradox and reopen it, I get a message that the working directory can't be found. This happens no matter which directory I have been in.

Can anyone tell me what's going on?

Do you have a file with the extension .JOB in your working or :PRIV: ?

If so, rename or delete it.

This can happen with files with other extensions as well; if .job isn't the culprit, look for files with non-Paradox extensions and rename (change extension) or delete them.

Can someone please delete?

The system gave a 'flood' message, made me wait, then posted the same thing twice.

And now says, basically, that I can't delete.
