VERY interesting... I did not know the rebuild could catch more stuff. Will probably start rebuilding whenever in doubt. Is there any disadvantage to just rebuilding w/o verify?
Possibly the clutter from all the "copy of" tables the rebuilds will make...? I have problems if I DO delete them -- referential integrity sometimes gets copied with the rest of the table, and won't allow simply deleting the files w/o other problems; and if I DON'T delete them they cause delays in restructuring tables -- if you click the table lookup tab, as the list populates it generates a number of error messages saying index is out of date, and you have to click ok each time. Not to mention the disk space eaten up by keeping them.
Is it better to run verify to avoid these problems, or is it better to skip and do a rebuild every time to be sure all problems are fixed? Maybe there's a way to work around the problems with the "copy of" tables stacking up...
