Network print servers are an inexpensive and great solution to a common home or office network.  Sure you can "share" printers attached to particular machines, but that creates a dependency on that machine being up and running.

With a network print server, that dependency disappears. People on the network can print without a particular machine being on and available.

They solve one other important problem, too.

Nice looking mailing and shipping labels make a statement about you - and/or your business. But printing to sheets of laser or inkjet labels can be a real pain when all you want are one or two labels at a time. This brief article talks about one line of label printers that's particularly convenient, inexpensive, plays nice on a network, and is super-easy to program.

Paradox has a built-in report writer that will suffice for nearly all reports you wish to create. You base a report on one or more tables or on a query. It uses a banded approach so you think in terms of records, pages, and report. Except for the record band, each section has a header and a footer. Paradox also offers a quick report which is useful for printing data quickly.
