RE: Table Corruption
Probably way too late, but this is a known bug using 32k blocks - go back to 16k and it will likely be fixed. It's bug "PX0469 Tables - Table Corruption" on Bertil Isberg's bug list with full description. I hit many similar issues and reverted back to 16k blocks and its been rock solid (mostly ;-) -David

RE: Export table to spreadsheet
Another approach is a free 3rd party (ancient) tool called Sportamok's Paradox dBase Reader (v2.2.0). When I'm sharing database files with non-Paradox users, that's what I suggest.

Search multiple Scripts
Howdy, Is there a way to search for something (a variable name, for example) across multiple scripts (and each section of those scripts, like run, var, proc, etc.)? In the ideal world, I'd like the output to be something like:    script1.ssl   proc   1732   the line of code with the search phrase I suppose I might have to write my own script to do it - but was hoping for something easier. (My big project has code split across several scripts because of the size limitations built-in to Paradox.) Thanks, David

RE: Opening multiple tables at onc
I would do it something like this: hT.attach("h.db"), hTC.open(hT), hTC.edit(), dT.attach("d.db"), dTC.open(dT) scan dTC:,    if hTC.locate("key",dTC."field12") then,       hTC."field3"="whatever",    endif, endscan hTC.endedit(), hTC.close(), dTC.close() You may also want to consider whether it can just be done through a Query.

X7 Pro is same old Paradox 11 version
Just a bit of information, talked with Corel support this evening and found out that X7 pro has the exact same version of Paradox as X5 with the update - that is to say Paradox 11.0.0.676. I can't say that I'm surprized :-)
