Win 10 and Installation Issue
We need to upgrade some machines from Win 7 to Win 10, and they need to be able to run Paradox 8.
  • Will that work?
  • Is there a way to install from a CD to a machine with no CD drive?
  • Thanks. Gary

We define large databases as greater than 500,000. We have a number of our own databases with more than 10 million records. We run client databases in 600-700 thousand segments. All code runs 4-5 times slower. Regards, Rich

, Good to know.  I wonder how you are defining "very large" databases, so I can determine what I might expect.

    Paradox 8 Form file corrupted?
I use Paradox 8.00.302 I have a form that has been working fine for almost a year.  I periodically update the code, verify it's working, and then deliver it.  Last time I did this was on 1/10/2014.  This morning, I go to open the FSL version to look at the code, and I get the Error message, "Cannot interpret file. It could be corrupt."  The delivered form opens without a problem. I CANNOT lose this code.  Any help would be appreciated. Gary

Try making a copy of the file and give it a totally different name and see if that copy opens up properly. (Another) Dan --- Dan Ellingson
