makeDir(varname) - or, how to convert var to const
I need to use a (string) variable as a parameter for makeDir, but it only accepts a constant as a parameter. For example: n = 1 while n <4    stVar = "dirname" + string(n)    makeDir(stVar) endwhile How to get around this...?   Thanks! -pt

RE: makeDir(varname) - or, how to
You will need to specify the complete drive and directory location., I am making the assumption that new directory is off of the working directory., If that isn't the case then simply assign your own drive/directory to , the variable "directoryToCreate".  MAKE SURE that you put two backslashes and not, just one between directory levels.  For example: c:\\windows\\system32 Method(), var,  directoryToCreate, pathDirectory string,  i smallint, endvar , pathDirectory = getAliasPath("WORK"), for i from 1 to 4,  directoryToCreate = pathDirectory + "\\" + string(i),  if not makedir(directoryToCreate),   then msgInfo("Error Creating Directory",,    "Unable to create new directory " + directoryToCreate + ".  Error to follow."),    errorshow(),    return,  endif, endfor , endMethod

PARADOX ON SBS 2011
We recently upgraded to a new server. The new server is running Microsoft SBS 11 AKA 2008 R2. Data transferred fine but when I run Paradox accessing data through forms it locks up on me. Tech support indicates server is running fine, no issues with firewall etc. We were previously on a server running SBS 2003 and we had no issues. I tried disabling my antivirus suite on my workstation as well to no avail.
