Hi Mark,
The funny thing, or good news, is that Paradox runs better on Windows 10 64bit than on Windows 7 and Paradox runs better on Win7 than Vista. Backwards compatibility is getting better with each version of Windows after Vista. So, use either Paradox 9, 10, or 11.

Paradox 9, 10, 11, etc. install easily on Windows 7! You do have to download WinHelp to get the Paradox help files to work properly.

Great article Doug. We recently had a client ask us to upgrade them from 7 to 10 and install the Classic Shell too. We did. He picked up the computer, took it home. Brought it back the next day and said, "Hey, you guys forgot to install Windows 10." We showed him the Classic Shell and explained.
In the end, he had us uninstall the Classic Shell because the computer was really for his kids and he wanted them learning the latest.
