You can uninstall IE9 and revert to your previous version of IE. On Vista/Windows 7, go to the Programs and Features control panel applet, select View Installed Updates, scroll down to the Microsoft Windows section, select Windows Internet Explorer, finally click the Uninstall button.
This question was asked by a gentleman that stopped by our booth yesterday at the 2011 Placer County Fair. He didn't really want to uninstall IE9, but rather he was having a problem in which he wanted to try to reinstall IE9. The problem was that he couldn't find where to uninstall IE9. It's hidden enough and I thought others might have the same question.
The confusion for most with uninstalling IE9 is that it is an update so you have to switch to installed updates to uninstall.
To Uninstall on Vista/Windows 7:
Open Programs and Features applet. Either browse to the Control Panel or select File | Run and type Programs and Features.
Click the View Installed Updates option on the left.
Under Uninstall an Update, scroll down to the Microsofte Windows section.
Either select Windows Internet Explorer and click the Uninstall option at the top, or, right click, and select Uninstall.
Your computer will now revert to your previous version of IE.
