The Programmers Guild has launched a Facebook page to keep members and fans current with news stories and legislation that impacts our careers. If you have a Facebook account please become a "Fan." If you don't have a Facebook account you can either create one or just periodically visit the page to keep informed. (must be upper-case)

Recent postings include an AFL-CIO study that slams the H-1b program, and a draft of a "petition to suspend H-1b until the job market improves" which will be deployed for signatures within a few weeks.

If you don't have a Facebook account consider creating one. They are free and a great way to reconnect with former friends.

Hi Kim,

Great idea! I became a fan this morning. Also, this post will be pushed out to the American Workforce group in next month's eMag (Feb 2010).

Be that as it may, deciding the proper area doesn‘t include choosing a nation. You need to guide them to during the current week. Pay rates change altogether across urban communities - because of work relocation and joblessness. Organizations need to consider not just capital where compensation for laborers are becoming quicker than swelling.
