Prestwood 8421 Office Tour
Posted 12 years ago on 6/25/2009
Take Away:

Picture tour of the Prestwood offices at 8421 Auburn Blvd, Suite 256 (Auburn Oaks Plaza business complex).

Marquee street sign...

Building sign...

As you go up the stairs to enter the 2nd floor door to all suites, you can see through our two Windows where you see our LED signs and our conference room:

The building entry door is to the right of our Windows:

The entry to our suite is the first door on the left:

Door signage too...

Reception Area

Nicole, our Office Manager, currently mans the reception desk:

Hallway / Printer Row / Storage Cabinets

In the hall is a shelf rack with printers and printer supplies. Also in the hall are our office supply storage units.

Conference Room

Server Room / Test Bench

We have a server room /test room with a door that locks.

Test bench...

Our server rack and relay rack. This picture was taken during setup.

We still have a shelf rack with servers setup too. Although we use a server rack with a relay rack to manage our rack mountable servers and equipment, we also maintain a shelf rack. Generally, tower servers are cheaper than rack servers and the tower shape is less intimidating to some clients. However, server racks and rack serviers do have cool factor and take up less space.

We do use our shelf rack and will keep it going so that we can demo various options to clients. We also have a network ladder setup to go from the shelf rack over some storage to our relay rack. Not really needed in our server room but there for demo purposes.

Developer Room 1 and Library

We have two developer rooms. This is the first one which contains 3 developers and our library.

Wes Peterson

Developer Room 2

Our second developer room contains 5 developers, some storage, and our computer repair workbench.

Mike, Thanks for the photos.  New office looks great, and not too far from the old location.  Happy for you, and your success. KEEP on ROCKING, KEEP on CODING, and KEEP ON, KEEPING ON  (needed to get something from the 70s).  LOL

One suggestion:  spruce this up to be more readable:
