C++ Exception Trapping (try/catch)

Languages Focus: Exception Trapping

A common usage of exception handling is to obtain and use resources in a "try-it" block, deal with any exceptions in an "exceptions" block, and release the resources in some kind of "final" block which executes whether or not any exceptions are trapped.

C++ Exception Trapping

try {
  //Some code.
}
catch(AnError) {
  //Error code here.
}

A literal number that appears in a software without explanation is referred to as a magic number. For the most part, experienced programmers like to see a program with only symbolic names like MAX ROWS, SCREEN WIDTH, and so on. On the other hand, professional computer programmers, who are among the most mathematically inclined persons on the planet, despise numbers! Why is this? A little history can help. All programming was done in machine code in the 1940s, which consisted solely of raw bit patterns. Programmers lived in the lowest circle of hell, having to translate these patterns on a constant basis. When the assembly language allowed for the use of symbolic names, programming became a thousand times easier. We have god of highschool game and you can play epic 7 on pc now!
