Here are some tips for sending us an MS SQL database. Although you can Export/Import, most MS SQL users simply do a complete backup so we can do a complete restore.

Transferring "Just" the .MDF Database File
If you choose to just "transfer" the .mdf file to us, then follow these steps:

1. Detach the database on the source server.

2. Create a blank database with the exact same name on the destination database.

3. On the destination server, detach the blank database.

4. Move the source .MDF file to the destination server.

5. On the destination server, attach to the "moved" database .MDF file.
