We recently upgraded the way in which our statistics packages for Windows 2000 hosting plans store and log their web site data. The upgrade consisted of the two basic changes:

1. Your log files now appear in the following format:

www.access_log.20030403

ftp.xfer_log.20030403

Both log files are updated every fifty-five (55) minutes. At the end of the day, both files are added to the month's "old_access_log.2003Apr.gz" file.

2. The daily logs are now transferred to the .gz file once a day instead of every five minutes. Likewise, the old_access_logs are compressed every day instead of at the beginning of each month.
