Whether your the Chief Information Officer at a large corporation, an IT manager, or a small business owner, you need to educate yourself on the role of technology in business.

You need to understand how information moves within and through your company. The better your company is at managing its own information, the more successful your company will become.

In addition to understanding the role of technology, you should be able to confidently know when to take on a project within and when to outsource it. If you want your outsourced projects to be a success, you need to learn how to work with consulting firms.
